James Island is the area of Charleston County that connects downtown to The Edge of America, Folly Beach. Known for its amplitude of marsh views and majestic trees, this residential community used to be known more for its farmland but still retains the small-town feel that residents know and love. Besides the Festival of Lights in James County Park at the end of each year to celebrate the holidays, the area offers a rural feel and quiet environment that allows you to escape and spend time with nature for the rest of the year.
